• Location — with your permission, your approximate or precise location, so we can show venues near you and sort by distance.
• Bookings — the venues, courts, dates and slots you book, and any payment proof you choose to upload.
• Chat messages — messages you exchange with venues through the app.
• Device & push tokens — basic device information and a push notification token so we can send booking and chat alerts.

We use your information to operate GameBear: to show relevant venues, process and confirm bookings, deliver chat and notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and improve the service. We do not use payment proof for anything other than sharing it with the venue to confirm your booking.

• With venues you book or chat with — your name, booking details and messages, so they can serve you.
• With service providers who help us run GameBear — hosting, SMS/OTP delivery, and maps providers — under agreements that limit their use of your data.
• When required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users.

We do not sell your personal data.

Your data is stored on secured servers and protected with reasonable technical and organisational measures. We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information from unauthorised access.

You can view and edit much of your information directly in your profile. You can control location and notification permissions in your device settings. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact us at [email protected] and we will help.

On the web, we use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. These are essential to how the service works; we do not use them for third-party advertising.

GameBear is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
